On October 1st my mother and I had the honor and the pleasure to join Loryn Kipp and Finn Mcdonald in celebrating their lifetime commitment to each other. We came to know Loryn and Finn when they were the innkeepers at the Captain Fairfield Inn in Kennebunkport, Maine just a block away from The Captain Jefferds Inn.

Like them, their wedding was unique, genuine, and naturally beautiful. The got married in a small stone church on Ocean Point, near Boothbay Harbor, Maine. It was the perfect Maine day, grey, misty, and breathtaking.
They arrived to the reception in true Maine fashion; on a friend's old ferry boat

The celebration had a subtle nautical theme with flowers from a flourist and good friend of ours, Melissa, who owns Fleurant in Lower Village Kennebunk.

The bride and groom's love was visibly true and sincere.
The food was delicious, the views were phenomenal, and the best part was seeing our friends on the happiest of days . We wish them all the best!
